Hedge fund firm PSI Capital Management and asset manager Quest Patent Research Corporation (QPRC) have teamed up to start a new patent asset hedge fund, HedgeCo.Net reports. QPRC will oversee researching, selecting and monitoring investments for Patent Strategies I Fund while PSI will control all operations.

QPRC president Jon Scahill and PSI owner Joby Hughes will be the principals of the joint venture. The New York-based fund is seeking interests in patent assets and generating revenues from licensing activities relating to patent assets.
